Marine and offshore industry မှာ မီးဖိုခန်းကို Galley လို့ ခေါ်ပါတယ်။
Galley အတွက် supply air ဟာ mechanical ventilation သီးသန့် ဖြစ်လို့ ရသလို conditioned air (AC) လဲ ဖြစ်လို့ ရပါတယ်။ Heat load များလေ့ ရှိတဲ့အတွက် airflow ကို လျှော့ချနိုင်ရန် အတွက် AC system ကို ပိုပြီး အသုံးများပါတယ်။ ဒီအတွက် AHU ဟာ 100% Fresh Air ကိုသာ အသုံးပြုရပါတယ်။ Exhaust air ဟာ supply air ထက် များရမယ် ဆိုတဲ့ သတ်မှတ်ချက် ရှိပါတယ်။ မှီငြမ်းရမယ့် standard ရှိပြီး ISO 9943 ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီ standard မှာ supply air (AC) ကို ဘယ်လို တွက်ရမလဲ ဆိုတာ ဖော်မြူလာ တင်မကပဲ ဥပမာ နဲ့ပါ ဖော်ပြထားသော်လည်း exhaust air ဟာ supply air ထက် ဘယ်လောက်များရမလဲ ဆိုတာ တိတိကျကျ ဖော်ပြထားတာတော့ မရှိပါဘူး။ သို့သော် Galley ဟာ adjoining accommodation spaces တွေရဲ့ pressure ထက် နည်းရမယ်လို့ ဆိုထားပါတယ်။ အချို့ case တွေမှာ natural supply air ကို ထည့်သွင်းရမယ်လို့ ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်။
နောက်ထပ် ISO standard တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ ISO 7547 မှာတော့ Galley လို့ သုံးနှုန်းထားတာ မပါရှိပဲ pantry တွေ အတွက်တော့ ဖော်ပြထားတာ ပါ ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီမှာတော့ exhaust air ဟာ supply air ထက် 20% များရမယ်လို့ ဆိုပါတယ်။

ဘယ်လို case မှာပဲ ဖြစ်ဖြစ် exhaust fan capacity ဟာ AHU supply airflow ထက် များပါတယ်။ လက်တွေ့ ဒီဇိုင်းလုပ်ကြတဲ့ အခါမှာတော့ cooking လုပ်ချိန်မှာ supply air နဲ့ exhaust air ကွာဟချက် ရှိတဲ့အတွက် balance air amount ကို ကပ်လျက်ရှိတဲ့ mess room (သို့) scullery room အခန်းကနေ အခန်းနှစ်ခု အကြားရှိ shutter မှတဆင့် Galley ကို ဝင်လာ၊ ပြီးတော့ Galley exhaust fan ကနေ extract လုပ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါဟာ Galley room ရဲ့ pressure ဟာ အခြားအခန်းတွေထက် နိမ့်နေတဲ့ arrangement ပါပဲ။ ဒီလို လုပ်ဖို့ အခြေအနေက ခွင့်မပြုရင်လဲ outside air ကို naturally ရယူဖို့ အတွက် Galley မှာ fresh air အတွက် opening တစ်ခု ထားရှိပါတယ်။ Galley exhaust fan ဟာ constant speed fan, 2-speed fan နဲ့ VSD fan ဆိုပြီး အမျိုးမျိုး တွေ့နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကတော့ project requirement နဲ့ control philosophy အပေါ်မှာ မူတည်ပြီး ဒီဇိုင်းလုပ်ကြပါတယ်။
